FAUX news is so proud of the Ahnold "landslide" victory, one of the very few bright spots for them. As a Kahleefornian, this victory is pretty easy to swallow on a day like this, especially considering the weakness of the dem candidate.

Look for the RNM to find a way to brand Byrd and this great speech un-American.
As heard today on the Ed Schulz show, Ed gave some much needed pub to this prick Gibbons' recent statements.

The anti-American congressman from Nevada was in the small town of Elko, Nevada recently, when at a speaking engagement (likely pushing for social security destruction) he got loose on the mic and began, as he often has in the past, attacking liberals.
"I say we tell those liberal, tree-hugging, Birkenstock-wearing, hippie, tie-dyed liberals to go make their movies and their music and whine somewhere else," he said.
He added it was "too damn bad we didn't buy them a ticket" to become human shields in Iraq.
Gibbons' comments came a week after he apologized for calling those who oppose corporate donations for President Bush's inaugural parties "communists".
I'm sure that the comments of the anti-American, fascist Congressman will be criticized tonight on Faux News as thoroughly as the ones made by Ward Churchill...

"Under that configuration, it has more than enough support to beat a filibuster in the Senate, with Democrats such as Carper, Charles Schumer of New York and Herb Kohl of Wisconsin serving as sponsors."
Dear Mr. Kinsley,
As a regular reader of the Times I would like to express my dismay regarding the referenced op-ed piece. According to this article from Media Matters for America http://mediamatters.org/items/200502010008, Mr. Boot's article is riddled with baseless accusations, false claims, and inaccuracies. It is unclear to me why the Times would publish a column by the obviously slanted Mr. Boot which does nothing but slander the widely respected investigative journalist Seymour Hersch. Further, I am very interested to know if op-ed columns such as this one are subject to fact checking? I ask this question because my own research into columnists such as Mr. Boot indicates that they are often not concerned with the truth, and are often interested in the deliberate dissemination of false information. Given the above referenced Media Matters article, I think that you would do a tremendous service to your redears to not publish future columns by Mr. Boot.
Respectfully Submitted,
Brian Martasin
